Travel the Te Anau-Milford scenic road with Nature Observations Milford Sound “Piopiotahi’ Coach and Cruise Day Tour. The Milford Road is an Alpine road that is absolutely spectacular to travel. Most travelers do not realize is that this route hides a myriad of nature walks, photographic opportunites and rich maori and European history.

Our driver/guides will ensure that you will benefit from all of their local knowledge and that they will take you to places that are true wonders of nature.

We will stop at numerous photographic opportunities including short non-compulsory Nature walks between Te Anau and Milford Sound.

Milford Sound Tour Includes the following Photo Stops!

• Milford Sound Nature Cruise
• The Mirror Lakes to capture reflections of the surrounding mountains
• Lake Gunn for a short nature walk through beech forest
• The Hollyford Valley
• East Homer nature walk for an introduction into the world of alpine plants
• The Chasm to view the twisted shapes carved in the rock

We pick you up by comfortable coach from your Te Anau accommodation and head in a Northerly direction as we follow alongside the South Islands largest Lake, Te Anau.

From the 1st of October, the Coach departs from your Te Anau Accommodation reception at 7.45am- return approx. 4.30pm.

Fare $150 per person, $80 per child. A Picnic Lunch on board the Nature Cruise is $16.00 per lunch or you are welcome to bring your own.
